Freckle’s pedigree is full of Paint and Quarter Horse Cutting Legends (scroll down for more info), but his foals can do more than work a cow!  Freckles is very flat kneed and can lope with the best of them.  Although has no APHA show record, Shelly has introduced him to Iowa Ranch Horse Association Shows in the fall of 2004 & Summer 2005.

Freckles has sired APHA point earners in Western Pleasure, Reining, Western Horsemanship, Trail, Barrel Racing, is an APHA World Show TOP 5 Sire (Junior Reining, 2002), and Zone 9 - 4th Overall Year-End Amateur Highpoint 2000.  He is also an NRHA Money Earning Sire (see details below).

Freckles is one of the best mannered stallions I have ever had the pleasure of knowing!  He is not only our herd sire, but a family friend.  Anna enjoys petting him almost as much as Freckles enjoys the attention!  His babies have the same temperament and willing nature.  In addition to world-class breeding, athletic ability & beautiful movement, add in the extra bonus of that gorgeous palomino color.  Half of his foals will carry the dilute gene and be palomino or buckskin, in addition to the possibility of paint color!

Color Guarantee is available for a stud fee of $600.00.  This would guarantee you either/&/or registerable paint, palomino, or buckskin color (APHA, PHBA, IBHA, ABHA  registerable), or rebreed for $100.00 (the next season).  He is a high percentage color sire.  For overo paint color he is over 90% on colored mares, and a solid 75% on AQHA & APHA BS mares.  His dilute color percentage is just over 70%.
